I just might be thinking about death … Nope, nothing to see here.

Some of you know - my Dad has been in the hospital this past week. He is home now, and doing okay. He will have heart surgery, sometime this upcoming week. But as things settled down and I was able to sit down and draw - I kept thinking about hospitals…

Hey there - The Thursday Strip is drawn and written - just needs color and text. My father went into the hospital last night so I will get it up as soon as possible. Headed out.

Today’s sketch book self portrait.

Informational … New strip will be up Thursday as usual, it will be humor, it will be original, but it still wont be Sam the Decider. I am trying to simplify the artwork of Sam because I have not been at all happy with the color work, backgrounds, etc, on the primary Sam strip. In the meantime - I have been having a blast drawing these little “Video Game Addicts” with the spiral eyes and fuzzy hair. So while it amuses me I will make strips out of them.

I am reading: Usagi Yogimbo – cute, fun, old. Surprised I have not read them before. The best thing about experiencing these now is - my two boys and I are reading them at the same time. - Also I live and die by the latest issue of Walking Dead – go get.

I am listening: Older: Smashing Pumpkins   -   Newer: Bon Iver (Still)

I am watching: Tonight we start season 4 of Weeds – Nothing makes you more thankful for what you have - then watching a f’d up White Girl, selling pot in a rich neighborhood.

Now why am I looking worried… No real reason… other then I am hoping to build an audience while not able to stick with one story line and jumping around with my A.D.D. In humor. Well folks, welcome to whats inside my head – you get to see things as I see things.
